Peter passed away on May 12th 2006 after a long bout with cancer. A native of Greenwich, CT, Peter received a BA in History from Yale College in 1983 and graduated as a George F. Baker Scholar with an MBA from the Harvard Business School in 1991, joining M/C Partners in the same year. He had originated investments in the CLEC, managed services, PCS and wireless tower industries. He served on the boards of directors of Atlantis, Florida Digital Network, MCC ICG Holdings (acquired by Level 3 Communications), Mpower Holding Corporation (Amex: MPE), New Global Telecom, Site Excell Partners, and Supra Telecom. Prior investments include Ovation Communications (acquired by McLeod USA), Telecorp PCS (acquired by AT&T Wireless) and Triad Cellular (acquired by Western Wireless). Mr. Claudy was the president of, and also served on the board of directors of, the New England Venture Capital Association.

He is survived by his wife and two young children.
