James F. Wade

Managing General Partner

Mr. Wade is responsible for developing the firm's involvement in the telecom service sectors, including mobile wireless, broadband wireless, CLEC, fiber and residential broadband providers. As Managing Partner of M/C, Mr. Wade leads the investment process including determining sector focus, seeking out management teams, founding new companies and working with financial sources that provide debt and equity capital to grow companies. Prior to joining M/C, he was employed by the Harris Bank in Chicago.

He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Cavalier Telephone, Revol, Open Mobile, Lightower Holdings, Melita Cable and Cellular One of East Texas and is a Board of Directors observer of Airband. Mr. Wade was previously on the Board of Directors of MetroPCS and NuVox Communications.

Mr. Wade received a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
